Rey Diogo will be coming out from his school in Los Angeles to teach a seminar at Carlson Gracie Indianapolis Jiu Jitsu. Rey is a cornerstone on the Carlson Gracie Team, a proven competitor, and great teacher.

Rey will also be available for a limited number of privates Tuesday, May 22, in the afternoon. Contact the Indianapolis school for details.

Cost for the seminar will be $40.00 per person. There is limited space, so get in early! We can do cash, check or credit card. Can call in your spot and pay via credit card on the phone.

About Ricardo "Rey" Diogo

  • Black Belt Carlson Gracie Team
  • Studying and training under Professor and Master Carlson Gracie since 1981
  • Teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Carlson Gracie Team since 1988
  • Two-time Brazilian National Champion and many times Regional Champion of Rio de Janeiro, in weight-class and absolute (open weight category)

Began teaching when only a blue belt for kids - 3 to 16 years old, later on advancing to teaching adults class. Taught there for 4 years.

Rio Sport Center

Became part of the Carlson Gracie Competition Team in Rio. Taught adult clasess at the Rio Sport Center in Copacabana.

Ricardo Diogo was invited to be partner/instructor at Carlson Gracie Jr.'s academy. Taught there for a year and a half.

Los Angeles Jiu-Jitsu Academy

Ricardo Diogo was invited to open up his own school in California. This academy also was the headquarters to Carlson Gracie Team training, to train it's fighters for any upcoming competitions. Fighters such as Vitor Belfort, Wallid Ismail, Carlao Barreto, Murilo Bustamante, etc. Taught kids and adults class.
